D.O. Ribera del Duero, Spain
Roda - La Horra

Winery
Bodegas La Horra is one of the most exciting new producers in Spain, mostly because it’s a second venture for Bodegas Roda, one of the most established and highly respected producers in the country. After four years of research into the best land for growing solely tempranillo (Rioja is traditionally a blended wine), the Rioja-based producer decided they would plant their vines in the Ribera del Duero, specifically the sector of La Horra, which was chosen for its ancient winemaking history and cool climate to reproduce the typically complex, elegant style of Roda.

Tasting Note
This is a really composed, rich and concentrated wine with a wealth of dried red flowers and red berry fruits. The palate has a plush and fluid style to it with red plum, darker berry, brambly flavors. Fresh finish.
