Importer and distributor of fine wines and spirits, founded in Miami in 2006 by Antonio Hidalgo, eighth-generation grandson of Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana.

Our History
Hidalgo Imports was founded in 2006 by Antonio Hidalgo in Miami, Florida, with a vision of introducing exceptional wines from Spain to the United States and building lasting relationships between distinguished producers and the American market.
Antonio Hidalgo represents the eighth generation of a family deeply rooted in the winemaking tradition of Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana in Spain. Founded in 1792, Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana remains family-owned and operated today, preserving more than two centuries of winemaking heritage, knowledge, and tradition. Growing up surrounded by vineyards, cellars, and generations of winemaking experience gave Antonio a unique understanding of the wine industry from an early age. His lifelong involvement in wine has also allowed him to witness firsthand the remarkable transformation and evolution of Spanish wines over the past three decades.

Our vision as a wine distribution company is to bring our customers closer to the producers. We provide in-depth, real, honest information about all of the wines that we work with, and continue to build a community of staff, customers, and producers who share our vision.
Since 2006 our mission is to offer a large selection of fine wines that offer great value at all price points, to make these wines easily available to Florida retailers and restaurants, and to provide exceptional service to all of our customers.
We work with producers who are committed to making wines as a genuine expression of the local culture and traditions. Our goal is more than just help distribute their wines. We strive to create a strong and open connection at every step from the producer to the person enjoying the bottle.

The company's executive team includes accomplished managers with a combined 40 years of experience in the alcohol beverage and hospitality industries with specific expertise in Importing, Wholesale Distribution, Sales Management, Administrative/Operations and in house marketing department equipped to improve sales thru branding, design and public relations.
The company's sales team is highly qualified due to our intensive training program focusing on wine knowledge, sales skills, confidence, and closing techniques. The company invests yearly in wine classes and winery visits for their Sales associates to keep them constantly learning and motivated.

Our WareHouse & Logistics
Hidalgo Imports is conveniently located in the industrial area of Miami, very close to the airport and main highways. We operate from a 15,000 square feet climate control temperature warehouse.
Given our customer growth in Northern Florida, the company has established a second warehouse in the Tampa area continuing to provide excellent customer service.
