Triana Pedro Ximenez VORS
D.O. Jerez - Xeres - Sherry, Spain
Bodegas Hidalgo

Winery
Bodegas Hidalgo la Gitana was founded in 1792 and since then the company has passed from father to son. Today is one of the few wine companies owned and controlled by the family and run by the eight generation in direct line of the founder. Triana is made from Pedro Ximenez grapes which are left in the sun to become raisins before pressing. The wine goes under oxidative aging and residual sugar is left to achieve a sweet well balanced wine. Is aged in the Solera System for at least 30 years. Limited production. The wine is entitled to the prestigious VORS Designation; Very Old Rare Sherry.
