The 2001 Gran Reserva, from another superb vintage, is still youthful in appearance. Sandalwood, graphite, espresso, roasted herbs, violets, and blackberry aromas lead to a mouth filling, spicy, plush offering that manages to combine elegance and power.

Vinification process:
Process A surprising profusion of aromas and flavors, due to the very particular selection of grapes from our oldest vines, allover 30 years old. A meticulous picking by hand allows us to maintain the grapes in perfect condition and retain all their primary aromas. 48 months of ageing in barrels of 6 different types of oak, added to the silence and peace of our cellar with its natural conditions of humidity and temperature end up tracing the singular character of this Gran Reserva.

Aging process:
48 months in barrels of six different types of oak and 40 months in bottle.
