Pasticcio
Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby red color with violet shades, limpid. Intense and multi-layered, fruity blueberry and blackberry bouquet with notes of wood. The taste is structured with important tannins, soft and potent with strong and decisive character.


Grape:
Cabernet franc 55%, Merlot 30% and Sangiovese 15%.


Vineyards:
During the harvest selected grapes are picked by hand and placed in small crates with holes for ventilation. They are unloaded directly into the de-stemmer and fall gently into the vats thanks to the cellar, exploiting the force of gravity.


Vinification process:
Intense extraction in contact with the marcs with frequent pump-overs during the initial fermentation. Great attention is paid to temperature control and the temperature never exceeds 30C (86F) and is allowed to descend gradually before the separation of the wine and the marcs.


Aging process:
Aging in wood for 15 months in French oak barriques. Bottle aging for at least 6 months.

Main aromas and flavors:
Blueberry and blackberry and wood.


Alcohol Contents:
13.5% vol.
