Tasting Notes:
Has a very intense nose of raspberry, fresh strawberry, maraschino and blood orange that effortlessly embraces the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte, succulent tannins, the oak playing a complementary role. It is struck through with outstanding acidity and wonderful minerality toward the finish. It shimmers in the mouth: so much purity you want to cry. It may be eye-wateringly expensive, but it is one of Ribera del Duero’s finest wines. Drink 2014-2025.

A hundred percent Tempranillo.

NIC has been made with grapes from small majuelos the term called Montecillo, planted by our family in 1920, which today have a controlled production of approximately 1 kg of grapes per vine.

Vinification process:
NIC is crafted following a whole new concept fermenting in barrels of 500 liter French oak Troncais area. This system allows the making a very careful and artisan winemaking for the best qualities of the grapes.

Aging process:
24 months in French oak.

15º vol
