Tasting Notes:
Is a wonderful expression of the power and depth of Ribera del Duero Tempranillo. Dense and inky purple in colour, it exhibits complex aromas on the nose a heady concoction of earthiness, dark berry fruit and hints of coffee and spice. On the palate the primary flavors are enriched by toasty oak and well integrated tannins to create an opulent, generous mouth feel.

100% Tempranillo

The grapes for this wine are all sourced from the small co-operative vineyard sites around the village of la Aguilera. Many of the vines are over 100 years old.

Vinification process:
The wine is made using traditional methods, including hand picking the grapes.

Aging process:
The wine spends 14 months in new French oak before being bottled, and a further 6 months in bottles before it is released.
