Il Coure - Cabernet Sauvigon
Tasting Notes:
This vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah and Merlot varieties. The Cabernet offers black cherry flavors and plenty of supple tannins. Petite Syrah contributes lush ripe plum and berry flavors plus adding to the wine body. Merlot adds floral scents and a smooth mouth feel.

Vineyards:
IL CUORE (eel quarry) is a fitting tribute to the Italian immigrants who first planted the North Coast region of California to vines during the latter portion of the nineteenth century. The name IL CUORE translates to “The Heart” from Italian and is derived from the title of the original watercolor by Dan Rizzie featured on our label.


Vinification process:
Rosso Classico, a unique blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, Carignane, and Sangiovese varieties. IL CUORE’s Rosso Classico is a medium bodied yet expressive wine, produced with modest oak cooperage to emphasize supple tannins and rich fruit flavors on the palate.
