Tasting Notes:
Deep and intense ruby red color with violet shades. Intense and fruity bouquet with light green pepper aromas with notes of wood. The taste is soft and persuasive with dry and sweet tannins.


The soil composition is mixed marl with excellent drainage. Has an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level. The density of vines per hectare is 5.000. Bilateral “cordone” growth system. During the harvest selected grapes are picked by hand and placed in small crates with holes for ventilation. They are unloaded directly into the de-stemmer and fall gently into the vats thanks to the cellar, exploiting the force of gravity.

Vinification process:
Intense extraction in contact with the marcs with frequent pump-overs during the initial fermentation. Great attention is paid to temperature control and the temperature never exceeds 27°C (80°F) and is allowed to descend gradually before the separation of the wine and the marcs.

Aging process:
Aging in wood for 12 months in French oak barriques. At least of 6 months of bottle aging.

Main aromas and flavors:
Ruby red with violet shades and fruity, light green pepper aromas with notes of wood.

Alcohol Contents:
13,5% vol.
