Chateau Bellevue Lugagnac Bordeaux Superior


Tasting Notes:
The color is a medium red. Full nose, very fruity and aromatic; honey with strawberry, blackcurrant and flowers. The mouth feel is sweet, balanced with some open tannins.


Vineyards:
Terroirs distributed around its castle and its two rivers, unique in their geological and geographical balance. Outstanding difference of more than 60 meters from north to south of the area. Soil and sub soil consisting of fossil marine limestone and rocky soils interspersed with extremely rich in iron ore clay. Plantations exposed north-south, gentle slopes and small hills. Average age of vines: 25 years.


Vinification process:
Cold maceration process for 6 to 8 days that extracts and magnifies the fruit.
Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at 25-28 C (77-82) tasting daily for optimum control and a delicate extraction.
Maceration of 28-30 days by pressing gravity.


Main aromas and flavors:
Honey with strawberry, blackcurrant and flowers


Grape:
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot


Aging process:
20% in new barrels during 10 months


Alcohol Contents:
13,5% vol.
